I heard the term "minimony" the other day. There are all sorts of different terms popping up for the way a wedding day has been looking lately. Micro-wedding, elopements, get'rdone's. Whatever the case may be, people are finding unique and fun ways to celebrate their love and we've been honoured to be a part of some really special moments this year.
Chelsey & Patrick and their cutie little boy celebrated their marriage in their parents backyard. Not their first choice, but looking back, everything that mattered was there. And it was seriously beautiful. All of the laughter and happy tears and funny moments and stories, everything was there and everyone that truly, truly mattered to them was there too. You can see it in their faces and in the gentle way their family touches and supports each other. In the way that they just dote on the very cutest little ring bearer.
